Again you can alleviate this problem by talking to your daughter about what colors she like to wear. This lets her know you are planning to purchase clothing for her for Christmas, but does not give away the type of clothing or style.
Perhaps one of the most hardest parts about purchasing clothing for teenage girls is understanding the latest trends or style and it is even worse during Christmas when you are trying to find a gift that will appeal to a teenage girl.
